We are proud of our school Facilities. Each school (Girls and Boys Sections) has its own Facilities which include labs, ICT rooms and spacious playgrounds. All classrooms are equipped with multi-media projectors. The Sports Gymnasiums and the soccer field are among the best in UAE and serve the entire student body by providing a wide range of athletics and other sporting Activities. The Art Department also has special classrooms and display areas.
Classrooms are spacious and each is equipped with a multimedia projector, speakers, and smart screens, enabling teachers to effectively deliver all multimedia and e-learning courses.
The school’s sports Facilities include 3 multipurpose gymnasiums, full-size soccer field, outdoor basketball playgrounds, and 3 swimming pools (for girls, boys, and toddlers) with changing rooms. The Sports Facilities are used by the PE department for teaching, by the Activities program and Champions Leagues.
DNS has seven computer labs equipped with networked terminals, all of which have Internet access through the school’s servers. Computers are used for Information & Communication Technology, as well as in the teaching of other subjects. The school aims to ensure that every student becomes computer literate.
The Elementary School has a general science laboratory, used by Grades (2-6) students. The Middle and High School Students have the use of four science laboratories, and their preparation rooms are all equipped to the highest international standards.
The school features a large, well-maintained swimming pool suitable for all grade levels. Younger students can enjoy a safe and supervised swimming environment, while older students can use the pool for advanced activities, lessons, and training. The pool encourages physical fitness, water safety, and overall student well-being.
The KG classroom is fully equipped with all the necessities to support young learners’ growth and development. It features age-appropriate furniture, learning materials, educational toys, and interactive resources that stimulate creativity, curiosity, and early learning skills. The environment is designed to be safe, engaging, and nurturing, ensuring that every child feels comfortable and encouraged to explore, play, and learn.
There are three spacious, colorful and well-equipped libraries at DNS to serve students from k-12. They include audio/visual Facilities and equipment, networked computers, and a big collection of print material. They also provide the students and staff with the place and resources to do research.
The school has five well-equipped Art Rooms for students K–12, providing materials and resources to explore creativity, develop artistic skills, and express themselves in a supportive environment.
DNS is well-equipped in this area, offering specialized facilities to support practical learning and skill development. For girls, there are two fully functional Home Economics Labs—one for cooking and another for sewing—where students can gain hands-on experience and develop essential life skills. For boys, an advanced electronics lab provides the tools and resources needed to explore, experiment, and build projects, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technical proficiency. These facilities enhance experiential learning and prepare students for real-world applications.
The two cafeterias, which seat over 1000 students, serve hot food, snacks, and salads every day for students and staff.
We have separate praying rooms for girls and boys, providing a quiet and comfortable space for students to perform their daily prayers.
