DNS offers a wide range of co-curricular activities that provide students with a unique opportunity to develop the skills needed to become well-rounded 21st-century learners.

The curriculum is aligned to Massachusetts curriculum frameworks incorporating the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Advanced Placement (AP), a college-level curriculum, is offered to high school students to prepare them for college and careers. DNS curriculum is also aligned with UAE’s MOE standards.

DNS curriculum ensures that skills, concepts and topics build sequentially from Kindergarten to Grade 12. We nurture students and equip them with twenty-first-century learning, entrepreneurial, leadership and interpersonal communication skills within the principles of global citizenship, positive attitudes and Islamic values. We provide learners and learning community rich standards-aligned curriculum resources, instructional materials, assessment, and specialized materials to guide learners to mastery of curriculum content and skills. Students’ attainment and progress data from multiple sources are reviewed periodically to reflect and measure the efficacy of the offered curriculum and make appropriate adoptation.

The learning community actively cultivates a culture of equity and excellence by creating and sustaining a curriculum that leads to high-quality learning experiences for all learners.
