Quality & Excellence

NEASC Accreditation

Dubai National School–Al Barsha maintains NEASC accreditation, proving quality education, continuous improvement, strong standards, and ongoing external reviews.

Accreditation is the affirmation that a school provides quality education and is a recognized means of demonstrating confidence in an institution’s performance and continuous improvement.

Dubai National School – Al Barsha first achieved full accreditation in May 2003 through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) via the Commission on International Education (CIE). The school was subsequently granted re-accreditation in 2014, reflecting its sustained commitment to institutional excellence.

Accreditation by NEASC indicates that a school meets or exceeds established professional criteria for the assessment of institutional quality through a rigorous, ongoing process of self-study and peer review. An accredited school demonstrates that it possesses the resources necessary to achieve its stated mission and provides clear evidence that students benefit from both the curricular and co-curricular programs offered.

NEASC accreditation therefore attests to substantial compliance with established qualitative standards, integrity in public representations of the institution, a strong commitment to continuous improvement, and the sufficiency of institutional resources.

Dubai National School – Al Barsha was granted its third accreditation in July 2022, following the successful hosting of the NEASC External Review Visit (ERV) in May 2022 under the ACE Protocol.

The school is currently engaged in its fourth cycle of accreditation. As part of this cycle, Dubai National School – Al Barsha hosted the NEASC accreditation team from February 9–12, 2026, for the ACE Preparatory Visit in preparation for the ACE Pathway External Review Visit that will be held in the academic year 2026-2027.
