Entrepreneurial Marathon

DNS Albarsha takes pride in leading the way by launching and orchestrating the inaugural “DNS Entrepreneurial Marathon” a one-of-a-kind inter-school competition at the UAE level. The finals witnessed the intense competition of 11 teams from 6 schools in a meticulously organized event, graced by the presence of Dubai SME representatives as strategic partners and esteemed judges. Congratulations to the students of Teriam School – Sharjah for securing the first-place position, and to DNS Albarsha students for achieving remarkable success in securing the second and third places.

Workshops

Scientific and humanitarian workshops took place around DNS this year.

DNS collaborated with different organizations to deliver various topics to the students. The Red Crescent focused on the Positive Behaviour as an Identity and the staying away from negative behaviour. Hemaya International Center reiterated the importance of Health Safety through a series of sessions including Hygiene and Bullying. The EEG workshops were an introduction for the upcoming event and the criteria for the submissions.

Company Programs

In collaboration with INJAZ

DNS students have an annual curricular program introducing the concepts of entrepreneurship and marketing. They apply their new knowledge in the different competitions organised by INJAZ.

Project Based Learning

Students across the school are busy working on their projects during class hours.

They collaborated on their STEAM projects. The ideas were phenomenal and the execution was outstanding.

Young students were seen engrossed in their experiments. They explored topics, made predictions, analyzed the data and evaluated their findings.

National Celebrations

The Jubilee of the UAE is an anniversary where all Emiratis and Expats celebrate with all the love for the country.

Different activities were seen throughout the day with flag colours, a production by the Social Studies department emphasising on the rich heritage and culture.

In continuous celebrations of the National Day, along with the Ghaya Volunteer Team, DNS students planted 50 new trees around the campus.

Awareness Campaigns

DNS students across the school addressed trending topics through student prepared awareness campaigns.

The topics touched on aspects that are important for students through personal experience or by proxy. Among the topics discussed are the effect of diabetes on patients and their family, bullying and tolerance.
